Well all is good here. I have since had 2 doctor appointments, and everything looks good. The ultrasound should that everything was where it should be. I started the Lovenox shots almost 3 weeks ago, and they seem to be going good. Surprising to me, I am able to give them myself, with much hesitation at first. At yesterdays appointment we got to hear the heart beat. That was reassuring to us. The heart rate was 160. Aj and I have a bet going, I think a girl and he wants a boy, so we have $5 riding on it. I am starting to feel somewhat better, less nausea, and tiredness. I will be ready for both to be on its way out the door. Otherwise all is good on the baby front.
Exciting news is we will be welcoming a new one to the family for sure March 3rd, if not sooner. My dear friend (more like a sister) is expecting a baby and they are set to induce on March 3rd. We anxiously await for Lainey to join us. Trey keeps asking his Aunt Jess, if she has fallen out yet. He is such a character with no sense of time, but what do we expect for an almost 4 year old.

RollerCoaster Ride Already
Well this past week has been a roller coaster of a ride. This past Friday, I took an ambulance ride as I was having chest pains and trouble breathing. It was suspected that I had yet another blood clot. But, fortunately it was only a lung infection and plurasy. I was given some antibiotics and some pain medication to control the pain until the infection was taken care of. Each day the breathing has gotten easier. Other than that, I have been feeling ok. Still have the nausea, but I guess that is here to stay for awhile.
College classes began again on Monday. Gosh I can't wait to be done. Oh, well if I continue on the track I want to go, it will be another 2 to 3 years. :) Paul begins classes again today. He is pretty happy that he got the classes that he wanted.
The boys attended two wrestling tournaments this weekend and for being their first year and first tournaments they did great. Aj placed 3rd on Saturday and 4th on Sunday. He was up against some tough competition. Trey placed 4th on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday, for a 3 year old, he did great. He is so fun to watch, because the concept of what he is doing is not quite there yet, but he had fun. Actually both boys had fun. Aj is going to be a great wrestler. He really is developing his skills and is quick on his feet. It is so nice seeing him excel with this.
The girls continue to do basketball. They seem to enjoy it. This surprises me of Mackenzie, as I did not think this was her thing. I knew Hailee would like basketball, she has talked about playing for some time now. And well, Skyller, she is just the all-around sports girl. Although she said to us that she would rather wrestle than play basketball. Gosh, she can go from putting on her crown to wrestling in the mud. She is such a well rounded child. If only reading came this easy for her. Alexis is not playing ball, she is not quite old enough yet. Although she tends to pick the non-athletic route, which is ok too. She likes to do the arts and crafts stuff. I think she will be my speech/debate team child, which is good too.

Surprise, Surprise
Well to our amazement we found out that we were expecting on New Years Day!!!! So off to the doctor we went. We visited with Dr. Bakker on Tuesday. We will be having our first ultrasound on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. At which time I will be 7 weeks along. During our appointment we discussed how the treatment of this pregnancy would be handled. We will be doing heparin shots twice a day starting at 10 weeks. I will also be taking prenatal vitamins, extra folic acid, and a baby aspirin throughout the pregnancy. I will be followed by several doctors, including a perinatologist and eventually a hematologist, but not sure when that will start.
With all the risks that are involved, it was decided that the baby would be delivered no later than 36 weeks. We were told that at 36 weeks the uterus starts to stretch which would pull the scar of my uterine rupture from when Trey was born. At 34 weeks they will do an amnio to check the lungs and if they look good they will possibly take at that point. We will know more when things get closer to that time. Dr. Bakker expressed that I need to take it easy and don't overdue it. With 6 kids at home already, we will see how that all goes.
